How could Belarusians even trust Lithuania? It is well-known that Lukashenka enjoyed a considerable support of the Lithuanian political elites already in 1994. It is him who "settled" the territorial issue with Lithuania and ceased Belarusian aspirations to the Vilna county signing the Border Treaty which the previous authorities were not willing to do. It is also Lukashenka who intensified the bilateral trade relations kept previously in a quite low level because of the afore-mentioned territorial issue. Even later Dalia G. openly supported her Belarusian colleague Alex Lu. at the eve of the last year elections. So, the game is not about the democratic activists, but about economy and history-related matters. So, the author is not as much familiar with this matter as it could have been. So, dear authors, learn, learn and once again learn, as comrade Lenin once said.
